Karuiku is a student-led group founded in 2016 that aims to build mutual understanding and knowledge between Japanese students and the predominantly international students at our school (UWC ISAK Japan). To accomplish this in the previous two years of our existence, we have hosted events to more than 500 Japanese and Malaysian participants that bridge the gap between the understanding and practice of our leadership and collaboration skills. Specifically, our workshops consist of team building activities, which enable the participants to brainstorm and use critical thinking, creative thinking and also collaboration skills.
